Jedidiah & Natalie | Intimate Backyard Wedding | Sanger, TX

I met Jedidiah and Natalie for coffee a few months before their wedding day. They let me in on their story and it was evident that their love was something special. Theirs was a journey of impromptu road trips, rooftop dates, and most of all — patience. I'm so glad that the Lord saw fit for these two to be married and that they chose me to document it — what an honor!

When they told me about their plans for an intimate backyard wedding with a subtle, "Winnie the Pooh" storybook theme, I was all in. Organic florals and earthy, autumn-tones, set the tone for their joyful gathering.

Jedidiah and Natalie loved the symbolism of seeing each other for the first time at the altar and decided to forgo a first look. Instead, we carved out a chunk of time after the reception for portraits of just the two of them. In the most beautiful evening light, these newlyweds let the day sink in and reveled in the fact that they were now husband and wife! At the end of the day, I asked what their favorite part had been. They were both in agreement that the prayers and encouragement of friends and family had meant the most to them. How sweet it was to have such a supportive tribe of people surrounding them, as two of the kindest hearts became one.
